WPA Participates in "Environmental Justice in Newark & Globally Discussion"-01/11/2022

Wynnie-Fred Victor Hinds, Executive Director of the Weequahic Park Association is one of the Panelists, along with Cynthia Mellon, Policy Consultant for the Climate Justice Alliance, for a discussion on Environmental Justice, occurring on January 11th from 7:00PM-9:00PM. Mellon and Victor-Hinds are also Co-Chairs of the City of Newark Environmental Commission.

The discussion is "a joint initiative of The Wei LLC’s EJ Chat Series,

Diversity United and Ahavas Sholom Jewish Congregation on ways that residents of Newark, New Jersey and communities around the globe are being impacted by environmental justice issues which affect their health, lifestyles and economic well-being". For more information and to register: TheWei.com
